2010 is shaping up to be a busy year with quite a few crime-writing workshops and library talks scheduled. The following appearances are confirmed, but there are several others in the pipeline so stay tuned for more.
  • April 15th - Belmont - Talk at the Ruth Falkner library commencing at 6pm
  • April 21st - Broome - Library talk from 6.30pm
  • April 29th - Dymocks, Hay St. Mall, Perth - Book signing from 12.30
  • May 4th - Victoria Park - Talk to The University of the Third Age, Victoria Park Community Centre, Kent Street, 2pm
  • June 19th - UWA - UWA Extension Workshop "Animal, Vegetable or Criminal?" 10–11.30am - 'Will your first attempt to write a novel be the death of you? Join acclaimed Western Australian author Felicity Young for a light-hearted workshop on how to write a crime novel. Felicity believes stories are everywhere. You just need to learn how to find them. Get her tips on brainstorming ideas, developing credible characters, setting the scene and getting the plot right.' -

The Association for the Blind of WA will make its first commercial foray into audio book publication using Fremantle Press books. Starting with The Last Whale by Chris Pash the Association currently has nine Fremantle Press titles in production, including An Easeful Death and Harum Scarum by Felicity Young. Read more..
